Margie Stokley (Founding Member) is an actress and playwright. Acting credits with Andhow!: PASCHAL FULL MOON, BEGINNING THE AMERICAN SPIRIT, DIALOGUES 01, 02, & 03, TEN TIMES TWO, Non-D, CURVATURE OF THE EARTH, BOO! (playwright & actress). Outside of Andhow!: In New York City, Margie has performed in SUPER POWERS (adobe, dir. Jessica Davis-Irons), AFTER LOYAL (New Georges, dir. Jessica Davis-Irons), SUBSCRIPTIONS (Turnip, dir. Jessica Davis-Irons), SERIOUS MONEY (Playwrights Horizons), BLOODWHITE (JSTA, dir. Laurie Sales). Regionally she's worked at Williamstown Theatre Festival with directors such as Nicholas Martin, Evan Cabnet, Ted Sluberski, and Marlo Hunter. She has also performed at the Mc Carter Theatre in Princeton, NJ; Maine State Music Theater, ME; Theater Under the Stars, TX where she had the pleasure of working with renown director Susan Stroman. She plays Nina(Lead) in the film HELICOPTER (Dir: Ari Gold) which was awarded the Academy Award (Student-Alternative Category), accepted to 2000 Sundance Film Festival and appeared on Sundance Film Channel. As a playwright Andhow! Produced her one-woman show BOO! in May of 2003 and her full length play ELEPHANT in August of 2004. Which is being published in a collection called PLAYS AND PLAYWRIGHTS 2005 and will be in stores Feb. 2005. She is a founding member of ANDHOW! and sits on the ANDHOW! Board of Directors.
