Garden Plays
ANDHOW! Theater Company returns to the West 104th Street Green Thumb Community Garden this summer with two new plays written for and inspired by the garden. Plays are fantastical in nature and for the child in all adults, and the adult in all children. The audience will follow the action throughout the garden, and if last year’s production of Watersheerie by John-Richard Thompson is any indication, either of the two plays will be a perfect way to spend a Summer evening in the city.

A Lightening of Fireflies
By John-Richard Thompson
Directed by Erin Quinn Purcell
Opening July 7, 2005
Thursday-Saturday through July 16

A Lightening of Fireflies is a cross-generational romantic comedy set in a garden on 104th Street in Manhattan. A Lightening shows that obstacles such as time are no matter when true love is at stake.

All performances are at 7:00 pm.
All performances are FREE!

Both plays will be performed at the
104th Street Community Garden
located just West of Central Park West on 104th Street
(between CPW & Manhattan).

By subway, take the B or C train to 103rd Street
